Abstract
Розглядаються лексичні, граматичні, стилістичні особливості наукового тексту. На прикладах як загальнонаукової, так і вузькоспеціальної термінології (дерматологія) охарактеризовано явища синонімії, подано рекомендації щодо вживання термінів-синонімів з огляду на їх етимологію та відтінки значення. Також приділяється увага типовим помилкам, які виникають при перекладі наукових текстів з російської на українську мову, запропоновано ряд часто вживаних слів та конструкцій, характерних науковому стилю, з метою запобігання калькування при укладанні текстів професійної спрямованості, зокрема медичних. The lexical, grammatical and stylistic features of the scientific text are considered. The phenomena of synonymy is characterized with examples of both general scientific and strictly specialized terminology (dermatology), recommendations on the usage of terms-synonyms are given from the point of view of their etymology and nuances of meaning. The authors also focus attention on the typical mistakes that arise when scientific texts are translated from Russian into Ukrainian; suggest a number of frequently used words and constructions typical of the scientific style, with the aim of avoiding the loan translation in the compilation of texts of the professional orientation, including medical ones.
