Abstract
Сучасна лінгвістика вивчає мову в тісному зв’язку з людиною. Звернення до творця мови не може бути цілісним без аналізу соматичної лексики. Стаття присвячена з’ясуванню семантики та особливостей функціонування оказіональних прикметників, утворених від соматичних назв. The reorientation of scientific research helps to increase attention to the anthropocentric nature of the formation of innovations, including occasional lexemes, the emergence of which is a definite result of the knowledge of the person of the real world, of its thinking and linguistic activity, it is determined by the communicative intention of the speaker. The purpose of the proposed article is the study of occasional adjectives formed on the basis of somatic names, in particular their semantic-derivative features and expressive functions in specific text conditions. The material of the study served neo-lexemes, found in in the poetry of Dniepropetrovsk’s writers of the end of XX – beginning of XXI centuries.
