Abstract
In the article had been shown features of preparation of medical students from the discipline "Labor Safety" in the medical faculties at the higher educational medical institutions. The aim of the discipline "Labor Safety", which is studied by students of the higher education medical institutions, is to develop knowledge, skills and competences for the future professionals to ensure effective management of occupational health in the medical field and to create a safe and favorable environment and occupational safety in the industry, according with applicable legislative acts. The study of a subject involves close links with such subjects as "Life Safety, Fundamentals of Occupational Health", "Hygiene and Ecology", "Social Medicine, Health Organization", "Medical Law" etc.
