Abstract

The article presents the results of an experimental study of the effect of cadmium salts on the development of blood vessels and atrioventricular valves of the rat heart during isolated administration and under the condition of correction of zinc citrate. The internal diameters of the vessels, the thickness of the atrioventricular valves, as well as the accumulation of cadmium and zinc in the heart of embryos of the rat of the 20th day of development were studied.
