Abstract
Community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) is not only one of the most frequent lower respiratory tractinfectious but also one of the most misdiagnosed. There is no clear data in Ukraine on the incidence ofCAP misdiagnosis and conditions, which can be difficult to differ with it. Therefore, we carried out astudy of case histories of patient with CAP and identified three cases of pneumonia misdiagnosis withlethal outcomes. One of them is presented in the article to demonstrate clinical diversity that can lead tountimely diagnosis of diseases hiding under initially suspected CAP.
