Автори історії кафедри зосереджують особливу увагу на розвитку вищої освіти, розумінні спадкоємності та формуванні триєдиної структури - навчання, наука та клінічна практика. у праці представлені біографічні нариси про усіх завідувачів кафедри, Видатних лікарів-науковців та співробітників кафедри. Видання присвячене 100-річчю кафедри та розраховане на студентів, молодих лікарів, викладачів та тих, хто цікавиться історією розвитку медицини на Дніпропетровщині. The monograph is deveted to the historical development of the department of internal medicine 2. The formation of the pedagogical process, scientific achievements, medical activity, social and organiziational aspects of the department are presented. The history of the department forms a separate view on the development of higher educayion, understanding of continuity and the formation of a united structure - learning, science and clinical practice. The monograph contains biographical descriptions of all the heads of the department, prominent physicians and scientists of the department. The publication represents the 100th anniversary of the transition from the past to the present and is designed for students, young doctors, teachers and those who are rinterested in the historyof medicine in Dnipropetrovsk region.
