Abstract

The aim of the study was to assess the intensity of immunity against tetanus in HIV-infected adults and to investigate its relationship with key clinical and laboratory indicators to determine the predictors of the integrated use of these factors. Significant differences were found between the titers of antitoxic antibodies in HIV-infected and immunocompetent adults. Clinical and laboratory predictors of strength of antitoxic immunity against tetanus in HIV-infected adults have been identified, which allows us to create an individual “vaccination roadmap” for patients in this category.
