Abstract

У статті йдеться про тернистий життєвий і професійний шлях німців-менонітів братів Езау. Яків став лікарем, його брат Іван — головою міста Катеринослава. Подано їхній внесок у розвиток медицини й промисловості на Придніпров’ї. З’ясована доля їхніх нащадків. The article highlights the thorny life and professional path of the German Mennonites brothers Esau. Yakiv became a doctor, and his brother Ivan became the head of Katerynoslav. Their contribution to the development of medicine and industry in the Dnieper region has been represented. The fate of their descendants has been found out.
