Abstract

Intensive care is a universal professional key competence for doctors of all specializations. Preventive care, early detection and timely correction of precursors, life-threatening symptoms and complications, are its structural components that must ensure capabilities and readiness to diagnose acute pathologies and to provide efficient treatment for patients in critical conditions. It requires complex professional skills, know-hows, attitude and working experience which must be created by professional educational systems, focused on both near- and long-term outcomes for patients
