Abstract

The article presents a comparative analysis o f modern questionnaires for study o f the quality o f life indicators in children. Quality o f life (QOL) is a necessary component o f a comprehensive assessment o f the patient s condition and includes information on all major areas o f human activity. The quality o f life varies with time depending on the condition o f the patient, i.e. assessment o f the integral indicator "quality o f life" allows continuous monitoring o f the patient's condition and correction o f therapy if necessary. A particularly valuable characteristic o f the QOL as a comprehensive examination tool is the direct participation o f the patient in the assessment o f his condition. The advantages o f using the GSRS (Gastrointestinal Simptom Rating Scale) questionnaire in children with gastritis and duodenitis to assess the indicators o f quality o f life are shown.
